1. Am I as big of a jerk (loser, etc or whatever term of negative endearment that strikes your fancy) as I appear to be? Answer: Probably bigger. I am a proud card carrying member of 'Blame America First.'. What problem since WWII has NOT been exacerbated (if not created) by some fatheaded and/or misguided American policy? The overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran? The Vietnam War? The 'secret' war against the Soviets following their invasion of Afghanistan in 1979, resulting in not only the destruction of Afghanistan--but also in the creation of al Qaida, The Taliban, and the forces that attacked us on 9/11? The unmitgated and wholesale cowardice of NOT having a coherent energy plan ever--but especially since 1973? 2. Do I hate everything? Answer: Pretty much. But not Bill Hicks, Lenny Bruce, most flavors of ice cream, the US Constitution, national health care, Raul Hilberg, Frantz Fanon, Tadeus Borowski, Ingrid Bergman, the San Diego Chargers (except when they let me down, which is often).
